The public health institution "Health Center Brcko" organized a ceremonial awarding of certificates for six medical technicians who successfully completed the training of emergency medical technicians at the Institute for Emergency Medical Aid of Sarajevo Canton.
The training lasted for two months and enabled medics to acquire new skills and knowledge that will be useful in their further work in the emergency medical service in Brcko.
"We learned there what it means and what teamwork looks like, because here only the driver and I go out on the field, which is a huge difference. We don't have a doctor in the field, we don't have someone who can help us here to apply what we learned in Sarajevo during the training, "said Mirza Kusturica, a medical technician.
The authorities of the Health Center point out that the practice of medical staff going to trainings will continue so that health workers can better help sick and injured patients, and provide citizens with better health care.
