Timely access to information from the medical database is of great importance in the treatment of a vital endangered patient. Thanks to the up-to-date management of the Public Institution ZHMP KS and the support of the Health Insurance Institute of KS, this morning all our mobile medical teams have access to the patient's medical data via tablets and mobile internet. On the way to the patient and at the scene of the accident, the team will be able to get acquainted with the patient's medical record in a short time (previous health problems, medications used, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures performed and those planned, possible allergies .. ) which will greatly improve the treatment of the current medical problem. The findings written by the doctor at the scene of the accident concerning the patient's current condition immediately enter the medical database, which will also facilitate and improve further treatment of the patient in other health care institutions according to needs. medicine via electronic prescription, which will be enough to report to the family doctor or specialist where the therapy will be extended or corrected. In order to protect the medical staff of the KS ambulance and prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, doctors also received an application through which they scan the patient's identity document and within 2 seconds receive information on whether the patient was self-isolated, positive for coronavirus or testing process. According to the information obtained, the staff will be able to put on an adequate level of protection in time and guide the patient through the health system in a safe way.
