Representatives of the Swiss Embassy and the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in BiH, on February 5, 2021, paid an official visit to the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service. The reason for the visit was a summary of the implemented projects in our institution and agreements on the continuation of cooperation under their auspices. The delegation of the Public Institution ZHMP KS, led by the director Mr.sci.med.dr Adem Zalihić, expressed gratitude for the support and cooperation and practically showed the importance of the implemented projects in providing emergency medical care to the citizens of KS.
Procurement and installation of modern computer and accompanying equipment in the Dispatch Center, medical equipment for the newly formed room for observation of potentially endangered patients and reconstruction of toilets in the central facility of JU ZHMP KS, are just some of the things realized in the first phase of the project (total value about 120,000 KM).
After a detailed presentation of the work and organization, available material and technical resources and their use, future plans to improve the work of Sarajevo Emergency and our role in the coronavirus pandemic and the migrant crisis, by Director Dr. Zalihic, representatives of the Embassy and DRC their satisfaction and confirmation that they have directed their help into the right hands with the promise of continued support and cooperation.
