The Crisis Staff of Sarajevo Canton has published additional numbers that citizens can call in case of suspicion of coronavirus. These are emergency telephones of health centers in KS
In the Sarajevo Canton, according to the data of the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of the KS, 16 people are currently under health supervision due to the corona virus, based on the issued decisions of the federal border inspectors. So far, 423 people have been treated since the end of January in order to eliminate the suspicion of coronavirus. There are no confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Sarajevo Canton, and measures of enhanced epidemiological and hygienic surveillance are still in force.

In addition to the existing telephone numbers, the KS Health Center has opened additional telephone numbers due to the current epidemiological situation, which will be active from 7.30 am to 8 pm, where patients will receive instructions on further treatment and eventual departure of family medicine teams to call addresses. from the Crisis Staff remind that people who suspect the appearance of the disease should not come to ambulances and hospitals, but will receive guidelines on further action via emergency telephones.

According to the latest orders of the Federal Crisis Staff, which is already being implemented in the field in Sarajevo Canton, bans on visits to hospitals, as well as in social care institutions that care for children, young people and the elderly in the canton have been imposed.

The Federal Chamber of Commerce also underlined the recommendation to the elderly to avoid unnecessary movements and the use of public transport.

Also, it is recommended that the elderly skip routine check-ups and visits to family doctor's offices and hospitals, unless they desperately need medical care. It is recommended to contact a doctor first by phone, if a person of this age needs a prescription or medical advice.

All cantonal crisis staffs have been ordered to immediately suspend regular specialist-consultative examinations in health institutions in the canton, and to perform the necessary specialist-consultative examinations in admission clinics in hospital departments in the canton, according to the FBiH Crisis Staff.
