In order to adequately inform the public, it is necessary for the population to follow the recommendations of the KS Crisis Staff and to adhere to them, "it was ordered today.

Contacts and reactions of all institutions in the chain of detection and treatment of patients with Corona virus are continuous for 24 hours.

"In case of a virus outbreak, we are ready to take care of people from the epidemiological side, we have humanity, isolation, panic should not be spread, but the problem of this epidemic should not be minimized. "According to the information from the Crisis Staff, there is currently a sufficient amount of equipment and medicines, but protective equipment as well as disease tests are still being procured," it was emphasized today.

At the moment, nothing is missing for the care of the sick, it was ordered from the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, where a fully equipped isolation ward for the most difficult patients is ready. In the event of a large number of patients, it will be necessary to include other institutions in the health care of patients

The key thing is the epidemiological control of patients in order to prevent the spread of viurus, which the Institute of Public Health so far, is a common assessment, works well

The Health Centers say that they have provided a sufficient number of special rooms for cases of suspected virus in the vicinity of the entrance to their central facilities.

The mayors of Sarajevo municipalities provided financial support in the procurement of protective equipment for the Health Centers, which announced the availability of additional telephone numbers that will be published soon.

According to the President of the Crisis Staff, Dr. Aida Pilav, there is a local transmission of the virus in 38 European countries, 31 people are currently under surveillance in our country, and since the official appearance of the virus, almost 400 people have been monitored.

"All our activities are in line with the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the recommendations of the FBiH Crisis Staff. We have our algorithm of action of everyone in the chain, which we certainly adapt and update, having in mind the changes in the environment and globally. It is important that all health care institutions submit their precise crisis plans so that the patient's path and the functioning of the institutions are best connected, "said Dr. Pilav.

Once again, attention is drawn to the fact that all persons who have stayed in the countries where there is a coronavirus epidemic in the past 7 to 14 days, with an emphasis on Italy, should contact the Public Health Institute of KS via their emergency phones.
