On this day, a year ago, in the area of the municipality of Centar, the Emergency Medical Center Centar started operating. The availability of emergency medical teams at all times has contributed to the safety of life of the citizens of the municipality of Centar, but has also given medical field teams safety in their work due to the shortening of the time of arrival at the scene.
In the period 06.05.2019. to 06.05.2020. 5317 interventions were performed, within which 5100 services were performed (services include: giving parenteral therapy, ECG recording, oxygen application, giving infusion, placing a urinary catheter, determining death with the issuance of supporting documentation, etc.…). br>
The medical teams of the Center's checkpoint started 31 resuscitations, of which 6 or 19.35% were successful.
In the same period, 5060 home visits were made to doctors with the associated team. In the same period, 2911 medical transports of suddenly ill and injured patients to the hospital were performed.
Based on the above data, it can be clearly concluded that the Center's Emergency Room has fully justified its existence.
