Thanks to the understanding, support and donation of the City Administration of the City of Sarajevo and the Mayor Mr. Abdulah Skaka, the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service is richer for another medical device that is of great importance in the treatment of vitally endangered patients but has a significant role in diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. in patients with suspected or confirmed coronavirus infection. The diagnostic station "Schiller DS20", with probes and sensors and through its 17-inch display allows monitoring of all vital parameters of the patient. The station will be installed in the triage clinic of the Institute, and the medical team, in addition to monitoring and recording 12-channel Ekg, Ekg monitoring, heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, peripheral blood oxygen saturation levels, will be able to measure with a spirometer. and patient lung function. It is a mobile Diagnostic Station that adapts to the patient's position and, thanks to the internal battery, is completely independent in its work. The measured parameters are sent to the database via the Internet, and thanks to the external printer, it is possible to find them in writing. The donation is worth 14,000 KM and in this capacity, this is the only such device in BiH.
And that the effort, dedication and professional work in accordance with world trends in the field of outpatient emergency medical care of the Public Institution for Emergency Medical Aid KS is heard outside the Sarajevo Canton, is evidenced by the confirmation coming from Banja Luka.
Dr. Nemanja Močević, a representative of the company Broma Bel from Banja Luka, through the donation of Schiller's 12-channel Ekg "Cardiovit AT 102" expressed support in front of his house to our institution. In addition to the mentioned device, the company Broma Bel also donated an external printer and a spirometry calibration pump for the new Diagnostic Station. This donation in the amount of approximately 5000 KM will significantly improve and facilitate the work of medical professionals of the Public Institution ZHMP KS.
We sincerely thank our friends for their support, promising that the donations will be an incentive, but also an obligation to be even better in our work.
